BVI House Asia Attends Tianjin Enterprise Go Global Forum

TIANJIN – November 5 2015 – Representatives of BVI House Asia attended the Tianjin Enterprise Go Global Forum November 4 to 5 in this city southeast of Beijing on the Bohai Gulf. The forum was sponsored by the Administrative Commission of Tianjin Binhai New Area Central Business District (CBD).

Ms. Heather Tang, Chief Operating Officer of BVI House Asia, gave greetings from the BVI to attendees of the forum, who included officials from the CBD Administrative Commission, representatives from government investment promotion agencies, chambers of commerce, and representatives from professional service institutions.

Ms. Claire Abrehart, Managing Director of The AMS Financial Group, gave a feature presentation on how the BVI can assist Chinese enterprises going global by using various BVI structures.

In addition to several speeches and presentations, the two days included a visit to the Binhai Huamao Center and an introduction to the CBD investment environment and “Go global” platform by Zheng Weimin, Direct of the CBD Administrative Commission of the Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone.

“The forum gave us a valuable opportunity to discuss with a number of Tianjin officials overseas investment procedures, opportunities and services that the BVI can provide, in addition to gaining an better understanding of the Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone,” Ms. Tang said.
